REVIEW: The Leading Man Relationship Management
System By Scot McKay |
| |
| $147.00 |
I first heard about Scot McKay
when he was interviewed by David DeAngelo for his
Interviews With Dating Gurus CD
series.
My first reaction after listening to the interview was, THIS
guy sounds DIFFERENT from the typical Seduction Community
pickup artists and dating guru types.
Scot not only revealed a bunch of key dating advice
info, but he actually managed to control the interview and
keep it on track. Which was amazing because usually David D.
likes to take over the interview with his own esoteric and
philosophical theories which usually takes away from the
interview. But not this time...
In fact, there was a portion of the interview that forced me
to pull over my truck and really listen to what
Scot was saying about deserving what you want. The
message hit home like a two-by-four cross the
forehead.
After listening to his podcasts-which I highly recommend
you do--and purchasing a few of his products, I
realized that Scot McKay WAS different from the
typical Seduction Community gurus, although still a part of
it.
But now with The Leading Man Relationship Management
System Scot is turning a corner. I'm not quite sure if he
is trying to distance himself from the Seduction and
Pickup Community, but...when I heard that he was coming out
with a complete system for relationship management, my first
thought was, “it’s about time!”
I mean, there's a TON of programs out there ALL trying to put a
different twist on the classic how-to-pickup-women thing, but
relationship management advice from a man who actually
understands pickup and attraction--well that's definitely been
lacking in the pickup community.
We all know that pickup isn’t all there is to being great with
women. Far from it. Most men actually just want to
have a great woman in their life long-term.
Or maybe several of them. Even die-hard pickup
artists feel this deep down, if they are strong enough to
admit it.
But let's face it, anything with the word relationships in
it comes off sounding like something Dr. Phil or Oprah would
approve of. And that's the LAST thing any real pickup
community certified dating guru wants to be associated
with.
In other words...they are AFRAID to tackle the subject!
They would rather continue to develop programs and systems for
attracting women and getting laid. After all, SEX
sells! So there's been a void...
But THAT'S where Scot McKay comes in.
You see, a while back he went through a nasty divorce and said
“never again”. Since then, he has experienced a level of dating
success that would make even some hardcore PUAs blush. In fact,
after having dated up to sixteen women at once, he figured out
he needed to have a real plan for managing his social life. His
friendships, his career and even his health were
suffering.
And eventually, having dated enough women to know what it was
he wanted, he decided to build a future with a great woman. So
he identified and selected that woman from many options. And
now,
she’s by his side wherever he goes and they couldn’t be
happier. She’s even the mother of Scot Jr. and his “partner in
crime” as a “dating guru” in her own right.
If you haven’t guessed already, Scot McKay is the right guy to
be teaching relationship management.
So with all that in mind, I checked out the Leading
Man Member’s Area and found everything in good working order.
All the audio programs are in MP3 format, with the eight core
programs coming with full transcripts in PDF format.
By the way, I'd like to think that I had something to do with
the PDF transcripts after mentioning the need for such a thing
in a review I posted on a message board for one of Scot's other
products, called Virtuosity.
Scot believes in keeping everything downloadable for instant
access. That way there aren't any scratched discs or
extended shipping times involved. Plus, Scot is well-known
for making “surprise” additions to his value-packed products,
which the Member’s Area concept supports beautifully.
It’s important to note that although The Leading Man has a
“Member’s Area”, this really isn’t a “membership site” per se.
You pay one time and your ticket is punched forever.
Anyway, getting back to the review, you'll find
that leadership is a major theme in the program.
As Scot puts it, “Show me a woman who ‘wears the pants’,
and I’ll show you a bitter woman’. Even so, Scot has softened
up a bit since he found his dream girl and it shows with ideas
such as
earning a woman’s respect in order to have a
fulfilling lifestyle.
Interestingly, McKay still believes in dating multiple women as
a means of evaluating and selecting the one for you
someday…whenever that “someday” feels right for each man as an
individual.
So as expected, there are complete audio programs detailing how
to run multiple long-term relationships and on how to identify,
attract and build a life with the greatest woman you’ve ever
met.
He’s also got a full program on “Core Relationship Management”
that serves as a fast-paced introduction to the overall
topic.
From there, he gets into nitty-gritty stuff like, “How To
Decode Women” that you'll find useful and
interesting. Like most of the stuff Scot produces,
there is absolutely zero-fluff here. I mean, even his free
podcasts provide a bunch of value.
Moving on, Scot covers what to say to women in a variety of
situations which is useful once you learn how to decode their
words. Then, he includes full-length programs on such
intriguing topics as, “Telecom Game”, “Character-Based Kino”
and “Crisis Management”.
I was especially interested in his
"Character-Based Kino" module as Kino is a huge componet
of the pickup artist routine. By the way, in case you didn't
know, Kino refers to touch. And I don't think I have to tell
you how powerful touch can be with the opposite sex. In
fact, one dating guru, Vin DiCarlo, teaches the use of
Kino as a way to create rapid attraction from women,
leading toward sex.
Well, Scot's version of Kino is obviously a bit different...at
first. He starts off by blasting the typical pickup artist's
view of Kino, gives a lecture about the folly of quick sex, and
then ends up getting into the nuts and bolts of Character Based
Kino. Ironically, he evenutally gets into stuff like
making out, when it's ok to grab crotches, and getting buck
naked together! He also refers to several techniques from
Dating Guru David DeAngelo. Not Vin DiCarlo for sure,
but not exactly chaste either. Careful, Kino is heavy
stuff!
Pretty much, you are left with the distinct impression that
every angle has been covered with the Leading Man
Relationship Management program. And there are some really
nice bonuses included, as we’ve come to expect from McKay.
Notably, he somehow cajoled Alex Allman into letting him
include the version of Revolutionary Sex for couples into the
mix. Now Alex has pretty much set himself apart as the “go-to
guy” for sex advice among guys these days, so the synergy there
with The Leading Man system is powerful.
Overall, The Leading Man delivers the goods, but at $147 it
might be a bit pricey. I suggest at least getting on his list
as Scot sometimes offers substantial discounts on his products.
